A Song of Prayer (Inspired by Psalm 63; 1 Corinthians 15; 1 Peter 4) Verse 1 Earnestly, I seek you LORD my God; You are my, delight, eternal life. Honestly, I failed you by my pride; Promise me, your name be glorified. Chorus You are divine; You became man. Jesus, you died; You rose to life. You paid for my sins; You conquered death. You will come back; and make us new. Verse 2 Patiently, wait with all hope and love; Your sufferings, he will use for your good. Lovingly, commit to your church; Humbly, serve Christ and share your faith. © 2022 Lisa Shaw

You Are 02:51
You Are (Inspired by: Bread of Life (John 6:35-48) Light of the World (John 8:12; 9:5) The Gate (John 10:7) The Good Shepherd (John 10:11-14) The Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25) The Way, Truth and the Life (John 14:6) The True Vine (John 15:1-5) Verse 1 I’ve been told that I’m my own authority; No right or wrong, no absolutes, just liberty. We need you Lord; Oh how we need you Lord. For You are great; the great I AM. Chorus 1 You’re the bread of life; I am satisfied. You are the light of the world; In you I shine. You are the gate and the door; In you I’m free. You’re good Shepherd; In you I’m found. Verse 2 I’ve been told that wealth is power and love is weak; No way around reality the heart is cold. We need you Lord; Oh how we need you Lord. For you are great; The great I AM. Chorus 2 You are the resurrection; I fear death no more. You are the way, the truth, the life; God in You I trust. You are the true vine; In You I find strength. You are who you are; Jesus you are my all. © 2022 Lisa Shaw

Crucifixion 03:04
Crucifixion (Inspired by Luke 22:44; John 19:30; Acts 2:24) Verse 1 Praying silently; Jesus sweating blood. Father, let this cup; Pass from me, pass from me. Yet not, not my will; but your will be done. to the cross, to the cross; Crucifixion. Verse 2 Out of breath, out of breath; Jesus pierced, he was pierced. For my guilt and shame; For my guilt and shame. By his wounds, by his wounds; I’m forgiven. I’m forgiven; Peace with God. Peace with God. Verse 3 To the grave, to the grave; His body lay, oh it lays. In a tomb sealed shut; For three days and nights. Yet the women came; And saw the angel. The stone, rolled, rolled away; He is risen. Verse 4 So fear not, fear not; For I am with, with you. You are not, not alone; You are not, not alone. By his grace, by his grace; I will live, live for God. Though I might, might fail; He is faithful. © 2022 Lisa Shaw

Confession of a Sister in Christ (Inspired by my sister Jane and Romans 5:7-8) Verse 1 You and I never been apart; A part of you has been a part of me. And now you are with your soul mate; Who should I turn to now? You say you’ll still be there for me; I do believe you though that’s not it. I’m happy that you are happy; I cannot define myself by you. Chorus You are my closest friend; You are my shelter in a rainy day you warm my soul. You are my star, in the darkest night; You point me to Jesus our Lord. Verse 2 Some days I just want to go my way; a way that will never satisfy. But you ask me to pause and pray; And ask myself honestly. Will this choice put a smile on God’s face? Or will this action break His heart? To this I came to my senses; I belong to Him who died in my place. Chorus You are my closest friend; You are my shelter in a rainy day you warm my soul. You are my star, in the darkest night; You point me to Jesus our Lord. Bridge Very rarely will anyone die for a good man; Though for a good man someone might dare to die. But God shows us His love in this you see: while we were sinners Christ died for us. © 2022 Lisa Shaw
